Just love the BBC iplayer

Have you ever missed a favourite programme on the BBC? I know I have missed many and kicked myself for not recording it using my Sky+ box. This is very annoying as some of the content from the beeb is very good nowadays and I like to get value for money from the licence fee which is too much!
Anyway with the launch of the BBC iplayer I now rarely miss my favourite programmes and I love it. The iplayer is simple to download and install, and even easier to use. Even my mother can use it. The only downsides at the moment in my opinion are that not all content is available and the download links disappear after a set period of time meaning you only have the watch online option. Many of the big internet providers are up in arms about the massive increase in bandwidth being used to view and download programmes but hey, that's what people want the internet for. If you pay for an unlimited broadband account then that is what you should get. Internet providers should stop whining.
Unfortunately the iplayer content is only available in the UK at the moment but this silly restriction may be lifted in the future?
