Why Is Google Analytics Reporting No Data?

I installed the code for Google analytics on this blog a while back and as expected the site shows up in my analytics pages. The problem is that it still says waiting for data after several months and shows a clock face in analytics.

This says to me that the code is installed correctly but why would I get no data? Can anyone offer an explanation to this problem? Mucho thanks to any help given
